eigen-grau — the colour you see in absolute darkness.

A note on darkness.

Every image on this archive began somewhere we cannot see — inside a model, in a space mathematicians call latent, where every possible image waits as a set of coordinates. Generation is the act of dragging one of those coordinates into light.

Eigen-grau is the German term for the colour your eye produces in total darkness. Not black. A specific warm grey — #16161D — invented by your visual cortex when there is nothing to see. We chose it as our background, our name, and our subject.

This is an archive, not a feed. Transmissions are selected, not submitted. Each one is paired with the exact prompt that produced it, displayed as written, with nothing redacted. There are no categories. No likes. No related items. No algorithm beyond a single curator's judgment.

If a piece is here, it earned its place.
